We carry out the comprehensive driver medical examinations required for HGV, PCV and taxi licence applications and renewals, assessing the key aspects of your health that affect your fitness to drive. This service covers HGV drivers who need to demonstrate the focus and health needed to handle heavy loads, taxi drivers whose passengers rely on them for a safe journey, and anyone renewing an existing licence. Your GP will identify and discuss any potential health concerns that could affect your ability to drive professionally, and complete the relevant paperwork as part of the appointment. The assessment takes around 15 minutes.
