Overview
About this service
Warts are benign skin growths caused by HPV, and while often harmless they can be painful, unsightly, or prone to spreading if left untreated. We offer several treatment approaches — from cryotherapy through to surgical excision — chosen to suit the type and location of your wart, whether that's a common wart on the hands, a plantar wart on the foot, or a flat or filiform wart elsewhere. Every treatment starts with an assessment by one of our GPs, and most procedures are completed within a single 15–30 minute appointment under local anaesthetic. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and follow-up support to help you get the best result.
